Motivated by the exhibition’s prompt, the artist assesses how physical hand gestures can transcend their dimensionality and become emotional viaducts between old and young. Thus, Firas begins to rationalize the ways in which authority has been delineated within a familial and domestic setting during his childhood, but also the urban setting of the city.
