Latifa Alkhayat is a Bahraini multidisciplinary architect and artist currently undertaking her Master of Architecture at MIT. She pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Bath in the UK, during which she worked at Grimshaw Architects and MICA in London. Her methodology in architecture is driven by a sensitivity to site and experience, investigated through materials and craftful construction processes. She has an intrigue in tangible and intangible waste management applied to micro and macro scales in post-oil Khaleeji cities.
